Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

2. What information we collect

a. Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials so you can sign in and sync your data across sessions and devices.

b. Information you enter into the App. The App is a personal tracker. We store the entries you choose to log, which may include: prayer (salah) records, Quran reading progress, dhikr counts, sunnah and fasting records, qada/fidyah/zakat/sadaqah entries, and health entries you opt to record (such as weight, hydration, sleep, steps, and intermittent-fasting times), as well as tasks and habits. This data is tied to your account so it persists and syncs.

c. Location (for prayer times only). If you grant location permission, the App reads your device's GPS coordinates to calculate accurate prayer times and to determine your city. You can instead set your location manually. Your coordinates/city are stored on your device and are sent to third-party prayer-time services solely to retrieve prayer times for your area (see Section 5). We do not use your location for advertising or tracking.

d. Information we do NOT collect. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs. We do not sell your personal data. The App contains no ads.

3. How we use your information

• To provide core features (prayer times, tracking, and progress views).
• To authenticate you and sync your data to your account.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
• To respond to your support requests.

We process your data to provide the service you have requested and to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App.

4. How your data is stored and protected

Your account and logged data are stored on our backend infrastructure (provided by Supabase). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We retain your data for as long as your account is active. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can:

• Edit or delete individual entries in the App at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@successmuslim.app, or see our account deletion page. We will action verified requests within 30 days.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, email support@successmuslim.app from the address associated with your account, or use the in-app account deletion option where available. Some records may be retained where required by law. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.

9. International users

Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
