Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
The App is published by Raudhah Technology, Selangor, Malaysia. For any privacy question, contact us at: support@successmuslim.app.
2. What information we collect
a. Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials so you can sign in and sync your data across sessions and devices.
b. Information you enter into the App. The App is a personal tracker. We store the entries you choose to log, which may include: prayer (salah) records, Quran reading progress, dhikr counts, sunnah and fasting records, qada/fidyah/zakat/sadaqah entries, and health entries you opt to record (such as weight, hydration, sleep, and intermittent-fasting times), as well as tasks and habits. This data is tied to your account so it persists and syncs.
c. Health data (steps). The App reads your step count from Health Connect (Android), Apple Health (iOS), or your device's built-in step sensor, whichever is available, so it can show your daily step count in the Health section and summarize steps for completed Walk to Mosque sessions. This access is read-only — the App never writes health data to Health Connect, Apple Health, or any other health store. Step data is not used for advertising, not shared with third parties for advertising, and not sold.
d. Location. The App uses your device's location for three purposes: (1) calculating accurate prayer times and your qibla direction, (2) searching for nearby mosques, and (3) recording your route during a Walk to Mosque session. For prayer times and qibla, you can instead set your location manually; your coordinates/city are stored on your device and are sent to third-party prayer-time services solely to retrieve prayer times for your area (see Section 5). Walk to Mosque sessions are always started by you — the App never tracks your location in the background or on its own. While a session is active, Android runs a foreground service (location type) with a persistent notification so you always know tracking is on, and tracking stops the moment the session ends. The App does not request background location access. The route itself (the sequence of coordinates you walked) is stored only on your device and never leaves it; when a session finishes, only a summary — date, mosque name, distance, duration, step count, status, and start/end time — is sent to our servers, with no coordinates included. Searching for nearby mosques sends your approximate coordinates to the Overpass API (see Section 5). We do not use your location for advertising or tracking outside these purposes.
e. Information we do NOT collect. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking SDKs. We do not sell your personal data. The App contains no ads.
3. How we use your information
- To provide core features (prayer times, tracking, and progress views).
- To authenticate you and sync your data to your account.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App.
- To respond to your support requests.
We process your data to provide the service you have requested and to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App.
4. How your data is stored and protected
Your account and logged data are stored on our backend infrastructure (provided by Supabase). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We retain your data for as long as your account is active. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Third-party services
The App relies on the following third parties to function. Each receives only the data needed for its purpose:

These services process data under their own privacy policies. We do not control, and are not responsible for, their practices.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can:
- Edit or delete individual entries in the App at any time.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@successmuslim.app, or see our account deletion page. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, email support@successmuslim.app from the address associated with your account, or use the in-app account deletion option where available. Some records may be retained where required by law. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.
9. International users
Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
